USG MTY

The leading company in lightweight construction systems and owner of the TABLAROCA® brand requested the expansion of its offices located in the city of Monterrey. The remodeling was proposed with an efficient use of spaces, fluid areas with views to the outside and natural light. Another important point in the design of the offices is the use of USG construction systems not only in the Show Room but also in the rest of the spaces.
In climates like Monterrey, the use of cross ventilation as a passive element for energy savings is very important.  The project tries to give a corporate image at the same time with materials and finishes similar to those of its offices in USG Mexico. The placement of low walls generates the use of natural light and causes a feeling of a wider and more open space.
